How to value your Telegram username in a minute

You can value a username in two ways: estimate it yourself from a few signs, or get a ready valuation from a bot in seconds. Let's cover both.

Step 1. Check whether the name has sold

The most accurate price is a real deal. Go to Fragment and find your username. If it (or very similar names) has already sold, you'll see the actual amount. That's the market value — more precise than any estimate.

Step 2. Judge the name by its signs

If there were no sales, estimate the value yourself. Ask four questions:

• How short is it? 4–5 letters is premium (there's nothing shorter on the market: 3-letter names aren't sold). 6–8 is average. 10+ is cheap.
• Is it a meaningful word? A real word (love, tiger, crypto) is worth more than random letters.
• Is it easy to read and remember? Pronounceability raises the price.
• Are there digits or underscores? They lower the value.

Step 3. Check the valuation with the bot

To avoid guessing, send the username to @UserRate_bot.
